Education

Fallon offers a host of educational opportunities for both children and adults. For the youngest learners, a handful of pre-school options exist.

Eight public schools, part of the Churchill County School District, deliver primary and secondary education and boast low teacher-to-student ratios. Fallon's private schools are the Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School (grades 1 to 8) and the Logos Christian Academy (grades K to 11). Logos hopes to offer grade 12 in 2009.

The Western Nevada College—Fallon Campus provides adult education, occupational training, counseling, manpower services and the first two years of academic coursework that's transferrable to the state universities.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Fallon Center is dedicated to teaching the science, practice and business of aviation and aerospace.
