Live Local Fallon

Written April 8th, 2011

The City of Fallon is proud to announce a campaign designed to strengthen our economy and community.

“Live Local Fallon” will incorporate a “Follow Your Dollar” challenge to local residents, encouraging them to see how money spent locally recirculates in our community and strengthens businesses, local government and our community as a whole. The “Live Local” campaign will also highlight the many events and educational programs that make Fallon a great place to live, work and recreate.

The City of Fallon will be distributing collateral material such as stickers and buttons that publicize “Live Local Fallon,” and the campaign will kick off with an inaugural event at this year’s first, free concert performance in the park by Plena Libre, to be held on June 18, 2011. Check back for the details of a great party launching a great cause. Until then, remember that shopping locally, recreating locally and taking advantage of local entertainment builds our local economy and our local community. We look forward to launching “Live Local Fallon” and working with Fallon residents to make common-sense decisions that make a difference for our city.
