Whether giving individual grants to young people in need or paying for neighborhood basketball hoops, the City of Fallon, for more than a decade, has benefited the community’s youth via a fund dedicated solely to enhancing their lives.
The Mayor’s Youth Fund provides financial support to qualifying people, programs and projects to improve the younger population’s standard of living and nurture their self-esteem. The trust, created by Mayor Ken Tedford and the Fallon City Council, is funded by charitable donations alone.
