The magazine’s recent contest “We Hear You America” was a way for communities across the country to show spirit, vote for their hometown, and compete for $5 million in prize money. Fallon competed against thousands of towns and ranked a remarkable 22nd — higher than any other town in Nevada. More than 100,000 votes were cast for Fallon, and hundreds of stories were posted on the “We Hear You America” website.

The response shows Fallon’s remarkable community spirit, camaraderie and town pride.
