Churchill Arts Council Celebrates 26 Years

Written January 5th, 2012

Fallon Theater

The Churchill Arts Council is celebrating its 26th season by putting out one of its most impressive and diverse seasons of art at the world-class Oats Park Art Center.

The arts council will kick off 2012 with a Jan. 28 performance by the Patricia Barber Trio, a Guggenheim Fellowship recipient whose Fallon performance will be one of her few U.S. tour dates in 2012.

The performance will be representative of what the Churchill Arts Council has cultivated in Fallon since its formation in1985 — artistically brilliant performances by world-class talent in one of the West’s most unique theaters.

Painting, prose, performance art, music and film are all mixed into a compelling schedule of 2012 performances and permanent collections.
“We believe that Fallon and our audience deserves the very best that we can bring,” said Valerie Serpa, executive director of the arts council.
