Business Spotlight: Lattin Farms

Written October 10th, 2011

Lattin

Produce and fresh fruit does not get any more authentically Fallon than at Lattin Farms, a fifth-generation Lahontan Valley business with a big reputation for everything from full-flavored red raspberries and cantaloupes to home-baked goods and jams.

But each fall Lattin Farms becomes more than a source of good fruit and produce. Hay rides, a legendary corn maze, a pumpkin patch, cow trains and pick-your-own-produce are only a few of Lattin Farm’s Fall Festival offerings each October that make the farm an annual autumn tradition for Fallon families.

The Fall Festival events are held each Saturday in October, and are a perfect place to pick up pumpkins for Halloween, or take the kids out to enjoy the most memorable moments of fall.

Founded in 1860, Lattin Farms has a long history and a deep tradition of providing first-rate agriculture from Fallon’s fertile soil. Many local restaurants use Lattin Farm’s fresh fruits and vegetables in their recipes. And for many Fallon residents, a trip to the farm’s fall festival is an annual autumn rite of passage.
