Andrea Schell’s Kaia F.I.T. “Functional Intense Training For Women” is Fallon’s “Business Spotlight.” Schell bought the Kaia F.I.T. (www.kaiafit.com) location in October 2010, and recently purchased a new 2,200-square-foot fitness center at 190 Industrial Way in Fallon. Schell has impressed her clients with a personalized, group training program that caters to women of all fitness levels. Kaia F.I.T. Boot Camps are an amazing experience, where participants simply show up, commit to the program and get phenomenal fitness results in a very short amount of time. Kaia F.I.T. participants work as a team for six weeks, recording their progress with a fitness assessment and goal sheet. The business’s four, certified fitness coaches tailor each boot camp session to each participant. Boot camps offer nutritional support, intense training and lots of fun. Kaia F.I.T. caters to women of all ages, shapes, sizes, and fitness levels. For additional information on the next boot camp call (775) 423-8679.

City of Fallon Employee of the Quarter

The City of Fallon would like to recognize the tireless work, dedication and outstanding professionalism of Nathan Rogne, our city’s employee of the quarter for the first quarter of 2011.

Rogne grew up in Fallon, joined the U.S. Army and served in the armed forces for more than five years, including a year-long deployment in Iraq. Following his military service, Rogne moved back to Fallon and joined the City of Fallon as a park maintenance employee, where he has worked since 2008.

Rogne works on all parks across the city, cleaning graffiti from walls, maintaining the grounds, and repairing equipment and facilities.

“I love the people,” said Rogne, “and I like doing something for the community.”

Our city is blessed with an impressive staff, whose talent, hard work and ingenuity — often performed behind the scenes — keeps the city’s day-to-day operations running seamlessly.

We congratulate Nathan on this well deserved honor. If you see Nathan around town, congratulate him on this recognition. Check back in future editions of the newsletter for next quarter’s outstanding employee.
