Saturday, January 22, 2011, 8P, Barkley Theatre.
An antidote to everything you hate about so-called modern Country music, Wylie is old-school cool without being a period piece. A perennial performer at Elko’s Cowboy Poetry gatherings, Wylie cooks up the real deal, a special blend of traditional ideas bent in new directions. He’s captivated audiences across the country from A Prairie Home Companion and the Kennedy Center to Merlefest and the Grand Ole Opry.
All seats are reserved. Tickets are $17 for CAC members; $20 for non-members. Visa and Mastercard accepted. Unless otherwise noted, the Center’s Box Office, Art Bar & Galleries open at 7P, performances begin at 8P.
