Fallon Garage tow truck, c. 1940s.
During war rationing in the 1940s, Fallonites were split into three groups: As, Bs and Cs. As were people who used automobiles non-essentially. Bs were those who needed their vehicles for essential things but for a limited distance. Cs were those involved in the war effort. To get a new tire, you had to get a certificate, and to get a certificate, you had to have a good and valid excuse.
